Animation – What Happens to Your Body When You Drink Alcohol

A contact through the Alcohol Explained Facebook Group recently posted an animation of my last blog post. I thought it was incredibly effective so we’ve worked together to create the following which details the physiological effects of drinking.

Please let me know if you find it useful so I can give some thought to making more of them.

  1. A really useful tool thank you. Although I have read Alcohol Explained 3 times, this visual approach has further clarified the subject for me.

  2. Exellent ! Especially as some people understand more visually.
It is very quick so a still cartoon would be useful maybe in little book or leaflet .
Again it Reinforces the facts .

  3. This was excellent! Thank you!
Loads of work to achieve it.
I learn visually so it’s a really useful aide memoir and summary of your book.
In your book, the one main fact that helped me the most to understand what was going on in my brain, mind and body was the explanation of the gap between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind when it cones to trying to understand and control Alcohol. Chapter three The Subconscious. Please could you do an animation about this? Or include it in the original animation? Thanks for your book it’s helped me change my life. I listen to it on most long car journeys as a form of therapy and it’s made me strong.
Next project for me is diet and disorganised eating. Im wondering…When does your book on diet go on sale and could you please release an audible version as well. Thanks again ????????????

  5. Thanks, William. Very useful and engaging, even for someone (me) who prefers written text. A good one to pass on to friends, too. I’m looking forward to seeing more of them already.

  6. This was great! A very clear, straightforward and accessible explanation of some fairly complex information about the effects of alcohol. It would be great to see more of these!

  7. This animation version is Excellent. I will play/share this with those who can’t fully understand why I stopped drinking alcohol 3 months ago. Thank You William!!

  8. This was excellent William. Very informative and not too lengthy! I look forward to seeing more of these as it emphasizes the concepts just by the viewing and listening ! Thank you. I am on my third reading of your book.

  9. Thanks so much! Would like to see more of these. These are great to share with friends who are not willing to read! 🙂

  10. Thank you for sharing. I thought it was a good way to get your message across. This video could reach a whole new group of people than those of us that found you through your book.

Would love to see more of them!

  11. I have listened to your book 2 times and this really sealed the deal in terms of understanding. Another thing I have heard (maybe from you?) is that over time our brains learn to anticipate how many drinks are normally consumed so that an equal share of stimulants are released right away, not waiting for each drink.

  12. Very well done. A different learning style i.e. audio and visual helps enhance the messages from the book. Perhaps all the chapters/blogs would be useful if presented this way?
